A vaulted living room: brick painted, ceiling brightened, paneling restained

The whole room was sealed in plastic before work began. The brick fireplace and vaulted ceiling were painted white, the wood paneling was stained a deeper tone, and new flooring finished the room.

Sealing the room first

Painting brick and ceilings above a room you live in creates overspray and dust. Sealing the windows, fireplace and floor first takes a long time, and it’s why the rest of the house stays clean.
